Maureen responds to seeing I love crushes… for the first time
I received “I love crushes more than real things” (unthinkable creatures publishing) via Kristen Stone of queeragripoetics.tumblr.com. It was incredible. Flipping through it, seeing the words I had thumbed through my iPhone delivered thousands of miles back in analog was breathtaking. The winter nights I spent curled under comforter, on the brink of tears from loneliness and confusion was put into something so beautiful. Thank you, Kristen. You mean the world to me.
